Top Hat pages can be used as assignments in the LMS. Then this is done, the Top Hat page is represented natively in the LMS as an assignment, and when a student clicks on it, they are taken directly to that page in Top Hat. This behavior is known as deep linking and it serves to provide a seamless experience for students when the course relies on multiple applications.
Important caveats:
- • Only deep links to Top Hat pages are currently supported. Deep links to other content types like folders, questions, and tests are not supported.
- • Syncing of due dates and assignment status is currently not supported. This means that if the value is changed in one application, the change will not automatically be reflected in the other application.
